1. Description of the Service

Bryn Care is a beta-stage software platform designed to help therapists manage clients, sessions, scheduling, and organizational workflows.

The Service is currently provided free of charge and is under active development. Features may change, be interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice.

2. No Legal Entity

The Service is currently operated as an independent software project and is not provided by a registered legal entity. By using the Service, you acknowledge this status.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by professionals aged 18 or older. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts and Authentication

Access to the Service requires authentication via third-party providers (such as Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and professional obligations.

If you are a therapist or organization using the Service, you are solely responsible for:

  • All client data you upload or manage within the Service
  • Obtaining informed consent from your clients where required
  • Ensuring lawful processing of personal and health-related data
  • Determining appropriate retention and deletion of client records
  • Ensuring the Service is suitable for your professional and regulatory obligations

6. Data Protection Roles

In relation to client data:

  • You act as the data controller
  • Bryn Care acts as a data processor

You remain fully responsible for compliance with applicable data protection laws.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Upload or process data without proper legal basis
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

8. Beta Disclaimer

The Service is provided as a beta product for testing and evaluation purposes. It may contain bugs, errors, or security vulnerabilities.

You acknowledge that:

  • The Service may not be reliable or continuously available
  • Data loss or corruption may occur
  • The Service may not meet regulatory requirements for handling sensitive data

9. No Medical or Professional Compliance Guarantee

The Service is not certified for compliance with any specific healthcare or data protection regulation (including but not limited to HIPAA or equivalent frameworks).

You are solely responsible for determining whether the Service is appropriate for your professional use and regulatory obligations.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

13. Limitation of Liability
